The Commission have published their 2004 Annual Report. This Report covers developments and activities during 2004 – the second year of implementation of the Sixth Framework Programme for R&D.
It is accompanied by a Commission Working Document that provides details on the achievements of Community research activities in 2004, an overview of developments in Member States, and an outlook for the future. The annex to it includes a series of tables containing statistics for 2004 (proposals received and selected, contracts signed, participations, Member States and countries associated with the Framework Programmes, instruments, etc.).
The report and the accompanying documents are based on contributions from all Directorate Generals directly involved in the Community’s research activities. It is the eleventh report of this kind.
