28/01/2014 - 2 Day ITN, IAPP and RISE Marie Curie Workshop (H2020 & FP7) – in Vienna, Austria

The Finance Helpdesk will be holding an open two day Marie Curie Workshop on 28 & 29 January 2014, in Vienna, Austria, which will tackle reporting issues in ITN and IAPP in FP7, and will also get participants ready for the new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions H2020 calls for proposal in ITN and RISE.

The Workshop will include specially prepared materials including: presentations, exercises and workbooks with illustrated examples. The workshop is relevant for anyone who wants to:

  • Understand the Marie Curie ITN and IAPP FP7 Financial Rules and how to report correctly.

  • Detailed information regarding the new ITN and RISE Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions and Grant Agreements in Horizon 2020, and the proposal application rules and process.

 

Host Actions (ITN, IAPP)

  • Eligible & Ineligible costs for each of the cost categories (including personnel costs, equipment, consumables, management, overheads)

  • Differences in Marie Curie rules between the annual Workprograms (2007 – 2013)

  • Grant Agreement Annexes and what to watch out for

  • Changes to planned recruitments and secondments during the running of an ITN or IAPP

  • Periodic and Progress reporting including Form C's

  • Bookkeeping, Accounting Records, Timesheets, Cost Recording

  • Worked examples of budget calculations

  • What does the auditor look for?

  • Walkthrough of Guides for Applicant and Submission Process:

    • Innovative Training Networks (ITN) - Partnerships may take the form of collaborative European Training Networks (ETN), European Industrial Doctorates (EID) or Joint Doctorates (EJD)

    • Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) - promote international and inter-sector collaboration through research and innovation staff exchanges, and sharing of knowledge

  • Budgeting examples and exercises

  • Eligible and ineligible costs

  • Bookkeeping, Accounting Records, Timesheets, Cost Recording

  • Audit requirements etc.
