Problem:
There are major differences in the Marie Curie rules within the annual FP7 Workprograms. This includes changes to the Grant Agreement, the cost categories and rules regarding eligible costs. It is of the utmost importance that personnel dealing with FP7 Marie Curie contracts across a number of different years are aware of the differences in implementation of rules and regulations between Grant Agreements and also in the interpretation of rules regarding eligible costs e.g. personnel, equipment, consumables, conferences, management, overheads etc.
There are also major changes between Marie-Curie grants in FP7 and the new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions in Horizon 2020.
Solution:
The Finance Helpdesk will be holding an open one-day Marie Curie Workshop on 11-12 November 2013, in Vienna, Austria, focusing on Marie-Curie reporting in FP7 and introducing the new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions in Horizon 2020.
The Workshop will include specially prepared materials including: presentations, exercises and workbooks with illustrated examples. The workshop is relevant for anyone who wants to:
Ø Understand the Marie Curie Financial Rules and how to report correctly. Workshop contents include coverage of all aspects of the three Marie Curie Financial Guidelines documents and Reporting requirements.
Ø Obtain up-to-date information regarding the new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions in Horizon 2020.
